Notes:
As some bands get older, they start to cater their fans a little more. No opener, start time at 8:00 PM. That's all good with me since Brent, Jason, and I had to drive from and back to Austin. Rage For Order was one the first CDs I bought and all of those songs mean a great deal to me. As far as I'm concerned, they are all classics. The American Soldier suite was decidedly average, but I wasn't expecting much from this segment coming into this show. All of the Empire songs brought the house down and Geoff didn't need to sing a single lyric. Which was good because it gave him time to show off his theatrics. That man is a born actor. The House of Blues is an excellent venue. The sound was really clear and we were really close to the stage. Sometimes both of those things don't coexist.
