Notes:
Here's a review I did for swarmrelocation.com after the show:

So the show was absolutely perfect. I've seen them 4 times now (3 times at Emo's) and I thought the sound was really nice, the energy was really high from both the band and the crowd, and the setlist was pretty good. They started HotD with the same opening sounds as the album so you knew what they were going to start with. By the end of the song, Aaron's mop of hair was all over the place and the energy was already high. I realized that the guitar tab I posted for this song needs a lot of work, but I didn't want to spend most of time just trying to pay attention to how the song was played. I wanted to pay attention to the music as a whole. They had ambient segues between all of the songs, but I don't think they actually played Wavering Radiant itself. Threshold was amazingly played exactly how it is on the album, all the way through the floating chords that are right at the end of the song. Dulcinea sounded a little muddy at first, but it cleared up and it's my favorite song from ITAOT, so I'm glad they are playing it. Celestial was a crushing encore, but it was already 1:30 AM when they started playing the encore and I was getting pretty exhausted by the end of the song. The crowd started to thin out a little bit before the encore. All in all, an excellent show and I'm glad they are focusing on the Wavering Radiant material. It sounds great live.

Some other random notes:

I bought the Shades of the Swarm boxset while I was there. The cool thing was that Aaron H, Mike, and Jeff were hanging out in the crowd before the show and so I got all of them to sign one of the vinyl covers in the box. I also chatted with them a bit. I asked Aaron H if Stone was going to be in the setlist and he said no because Aaron T has a tough time singing it. He said they are going to add it later on in the tour. When he was signing the vinyl sleeve, he mentioned that he had not actually seen the inside of the box yet, which seems odd. I talked to Mike and told him the new album sounded great. He thanked me for purchasing the box and he said he likes it a lot and actually has it framed in his house.

Tombs went on a 10:15, Pelican at 11:10, and Isis at 12:30. Pelican played 6 songs, and they were okay. I was really excited to see them, but I was not as impressed with their live show. They work better on the CD for me. Tombs was blah.
