My 10th Metallica show! 10 shows in 11 years in 6 different cities. All great and this was one of the better ones. Brent and Jason really enjoyed the show as well. The band was really tight and the setlist is somewhat unique compared to previous dates on the World Magnetic tour. The new songs work really well live, though I still don't care for Cyanide. My first time to hear Fight Fire With Fire live.

Down was a band that I was really, really looking forward to as NOLA is one of my all-time favorite albums. It was too bad their sound was muddy. What I could hear was pretty good and the selist was excellent. Bury Me In Smoke is just killer.

The Sword representin' Austin! Good work guys! Their vocals were so far down in the mix that I could only hear their guitars. That totally worked in their favor.
