This was the show that almost wasn't. Holly's girl crush, Megan, was coming into town to to open up for Patrice Pike, or so we thought. We got to Momo's and asked if anyone knew when Megan was going to play. As far as any of the staff were concerned, she wasn't scheduled to play at all. We checked all the flyers and checked the website, and sure enough, there was no mention of her. As we were leaving, someone from the venue stopped us and said Megan was indeed playing, but she was just playing a few songs in the middle of Patrice's set. Excellent. So we go back and sit down and wait for Patrice's set to start. Someone must have mentioned that the two of us came to see Megan and told her about it, and so she was kind enough to come by and sit at our table and hang out with us before her set started. She said that she only had time for three songs and asked Holly what she should play. Holly asked for Planets and she played it. How cool is that?
