Notes: My only SXSW show of 2005 and I went with Brent, Bill and Stephanie. Flamingo Cantina is a very small place and we ended up very close to the stage. We came in when Skolnick was already playing. It's always fun to hear a song that's very familiar, but redone in a completely different manner. Skolnick's renditions of Detroit Rock City and War Pigs were fun. Apocalpytica's set was really short - no more than 5 or 6 songs because they went on really late. Puppets and Path made up for it. Decent show.
