So what's going on?

James came by this weekend and it was awesome. It was surprising to think that it had been more than 2.5 years since I last saw him. And it's even crazier to think I've known him for close to 10 years. It's been a long time since I used to knock on his door everyday after school and we would gather everyone to play football. Or we would play Madden '94 or Sewer Shark for Sega. Good times then and good times now. This weekend we watched Master and Commander (so damn slow) and then went to Murphy's and Brother's. Also caught up with Duncan at Brother's which was cool. Let's hope it's not another 2.5 years till the next time. And if there is anyone else out there that I haven't seen in a while, call me up or something.

Bowling was good today for a two reasons. We kicked ass as a team and I set a new personal high. I bowled a 117-169-124 - we are in the playoffs. Andrew and I narrowly missed winning that IM racquetball a few years back, but I won't be denied now - gotta win something some time.

The other reason bowling was good was because I got some pictures and video clips. You can find those here. Please feel free to make fun of the way I bowl in the comments below. What you say can't hurt me - I bowled a 169. Also, the movies are large, so you might want to Right Click - Save Target As to save them to your computer before viewing.

So you would play football with that old guy? I guess if you've known him for 10 years then he might have been more spunky back then.

I was thrilled to see that you didn't link my name to a picture. I hope it's because you've never been able to capture me on film (outside of that very passionate night before you left for Illinois).

We were very close to winning that tournament. Good luck in bowling because I wouldn't want you to be the poor bastard that never won anything after Gabe and I destroy the other teams this spring.

I watched that video of you...two comments: Nice cinematography. It was similar to that shot in The Big Lebowski, but the cameraman having a seizure put your footage over the top. Your style is amusing. You realize you are rolling a hard ball and not a baby or an egg right? It's okay if you put a little force behind your roll. Do the pins laugh at you when the ball gently bumps them?

I was tempted to make a mom joke, but the one that popped into my head seemed entirely too vulgar to write so I'm keeping it to myself.

Not the old guy in the picture. It's the guy speaking at microphone blue shirt. Or have i been trolled?

Link of your picture upcoming as a reward for your joke.

I'll join the faculty of UT next semester (in some capacity) and join the tournament and I will destroy you. Gabe's destruction will be a mere side effect.

The piece of crap digital camera was a piece of crap. The lighting was poor and it only works in 320x200 or whatever. The pins laughed to the tune of a 169.

Thank you for keeping your joke to yourself. My parents read this site (I think) but I'm not sure if they have found the comments section yet.

Nice picture of Andrew in the link.

Maybe we should plan some bowling when you come down to test your skills and see if you've been making up these scores this whole time. Has your average been rising? Please provide a line graph of your scores as the semester has progressed so we can better assess your abilities.
