Enginerds?

I joined a bowling team. That's right - I will now bowl for a team. Before you accuse me of sabotaging someone, it is a handicap league where you just have to match your average to do well. I'm probably good for a 110 each week, so you'll hear me brag when I reach that 140 plateau. Actually, I'll update every Monday letting you know about my bowling experience.

Enojoyed the weekend with the Shlepster (all the way from Waukegan) and his cousin. Went out to eat at some Chinese restaurant that had "Strange Flavored Chicken" on the menu. Something must have been lost in the translation...

It's disappointing to have a broken guitar - it's just not as fun when you can't plug in.

I'm the master of procrastinating (school, job applications, taking out the trash...) - it hasn't come back to hurt me yet.

The title of the post refers to the name of the bowling team last year.

Gabe and I were wondering how a nearly graduated electrical engineer couldn't fix a minor wiring problem in his own guitar. Please respond.

It's the easiest fix in the world. I just have to reattach the wires. I don't have access to a soldering iron.

BS. They sell them for $5 at Radio Shack. If that's too much of an investment, I'm sure they have TONS somewhere in the EE department, and given that you are a graduate student, I'm pretty sure there's someone way you can use a soldering iron for 10 minutes. I checked out a soldering iron from UT, and I was an undergrad ChemE! Cmon, get your guitar going again.

I am seconding on this one. Fix the damn thing. It took longer to blog about it than it would to solder it.
